The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kalaburagi has issued certificates to Ayushman Arogya Kendras that successfully qualified for the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) at the national level.
During the District Health Society (DHS) meeting, the DC lauded the outstanding performance of the Health & Wellness Centres, commending the Community Health Officers (CHOs) and staff for their commitment to maintaining high-quality healthcare services.
The event was attended by officials from the Health and Family Welfare Department, District Programme Officers, the DTC Principal, Taluk Health Officers, and Medical Officers.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized that in the coming days more centres should strive to qualify under NQAS, thereby ensuring quality care, reducing out-of-pocket expenditure, and achieving key health parameters for the district.
