Today, Ms. Kavitha K, Community Health Officer (CHO) at Chinakavajra Ayushman Arogya Mandira, Madhugiri Taluk, Tumakuru District, visited households within the health centre jurisdiction as part of the Home Health Care Service initiative.
During the field visit:


- Health check-ups were conducted for elderly individuals who are unable to visit the health centre Counselling on nutrition, diet and personal hygiene was provided.
- Awareness on Leprosy (Hansen’s Disease) was delivered to the community Visit to the Anganwadi Centre was made, where children and parents were educated on hygiene, nutrition and growth monitoring Villagers were sensitised about the Home Health Programme, and primary screening was done
This community-based initiative plays a vital role in ensuring “Healthcare for All — Healthcare at the Doorstep,” especially for rural and underserved populations.
Through this effort, the dedication, compassion and public health commitment of Community Health Officers has once again been highlighted.
