Today, a home visit was conducted for PATEINT, who is bedridden due to a spinal cord injury.
During the visit, the following services were provided:
- Catheterization procedure was performed
- Detailed guidance on personal hygiene for the patient and family, including:
- Daily body cleansing
- Preventing skin dryness/irritation
- Position change to prevent bedsores
- Proper handwashing method
- Clean clothes, bedding and room maintenance
Counselling on nutritious diet and adequate fluid intake Physiotherapy exercises explained to improve physical mobility Awareness given to the family regarding continuous care and support
This initiative reflects the commitment of our Community Health Officers to deliver quality healthcare services at the doorstep of those in need, especially bedridden and high-risk patients.
