Today, in Ramanahalli village under the jurisdiction of Ayushman Arogya Kendra, Gundunase, Sira Taluk, Tumakuru District, our Community Health Officer Ms. Jnaneshwari R conducted an Anganwadi visit and an NCD (National Programme for Prevention & Control of Non-Communicable Diseases) camp for the villagers.
As part of the programme, she also carried out home-care visits to elderly people and individuals who were unable to visit the health centre. During the visit, she provided:
Primary health care guidance at home
Health screening for NCDs such as diabetes, hypertension, etc.
Diet and lifestyle counselling for elderly persons
Awareness on AIDS and preventive measures
Health education to improve family and community health practices
She was accompanied and supported by the ASHA worker of the village, ensuring effective delivery of health services to households.
