State CHO Union Requests Mission Director NHM to Convene Second Meeting on Pending Charter of Demands

Bengaluru|13 November 2025]

The Akhila Karnataka State Community Health NHM Contractual Employees Union (R) has appealed to the Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka, to convene a second meeting to deliberate on the pending and omitted points from the Union’s Charter of Demands.

In a formal representation submitted by State President Mr. Mamit Gaikwad, the Union thanked the Mission Director for organizing the first meeting and sharing the official proceedings. However, Mr. Gaikwad noted that several key issues could not be adequately discussed due to shortage of time.

The representation further emphasized that crucial matters such as the regularisation of services, inter-district transfer policy, pay revision, and other employee welfare measures were not sufficiently covered in the previous meeting. These issues are of critical importance to Community Health Officers (CHOs) serving under NHM across Karnataka.

Hence, Mr. Mamit Gaikwad, on behalf of the Union, has earnestly requested the Mission Director to convene a second-round meeting at the earliest to continue and complete the discussion on all pending demands. The Union has also sought an early intimation of the proposed date and time for the meeting.
