The Akhila Karnataka State Community Health NHM Contractual Employees Union (R) successfully conducted its Joint Annual Meeting of the State Committee and District Committees in a grand manner.
This important meeting was organised by the Shivamogga District Committee, which ensured excellent arrangements and smooth coordination.
Representatives from various districts, district presidents, secretaries, and active union members participated in large numbers.
Members and office bearers of the State Committee were also present and discussed the future direction of the union’s movement.
During the meeting, a resolution was passed to initiate a legal struggle for the regularisation of Community Health Officers (CHOs), wage revision, job security, and the protection of employee rights, announced State President Mr. Mamit Gaikwad.
The meeting was held under the guidance of the Union’s Honorary President, Mr. R. Manasayya, whose advice and support have been instrumental in shaping the union’s strategies and strengthening its commitment to members’ welfare.
The meeting also focused on strengthening unity among members, reinforcing commitment to the struggle, and improving the public health system.
All members took a pledge to continue their united struggle to achieve justice and rightful recognition for CHOs across Karnataka.
With the slogan “Unity is Our Strength – Struggle is Our Right,” the meeting concluded successfully.
