Bengalore: Over 6,000 Community Health Officers (CHOs) across Karnataka continue to serve diligently, playing an integral role in strengthening the State’s primary healthcare network. However, it has been observed that in several districts, there have been delays in the disbursement of salaries, incentives, and bonuses, despite the government having already released the necessary funds.
In this context, Mr. Mamit Gaikwad, State President of the All Karnataka State Community Health NHM Contractual Employees Union, has urged the Hon’ble Mission Director to issue immediate instructions to all District Health and Family Welfare Officers to release all pending payments — salaries, incentives, and bonuses — without any further delay or withholding of wages.
The Union emphasized that timely payment of salaries and benefits is vital for maintaining the morale and motivation of Community Health Officers. CHOs are at the forefront of delivering essential healthcare services, particularly in rural and underserved areas, and play a critical role in achieving the State’s public health goals.
The Union has expressed confidence that the authorities will take prompt action to ensure justice to all Community Health Officers and maintain the smooth functioning of the healthcare delivery system across Karnataka.

If salary not coming on time all CHOs will face financial crisis and burden. So please rather than doing partiality in between contractual and regular employees, do our salary and incentives on time along with increment, bonus and arriers
without salary Difficult to full fill daily needs of family. All CHOs are celebrearated Dasara and Deepawali in Dark night Bcz of financial crisis. Where single earning members in family are facing more difficulties. Please ensure further though in time salary for CHOs.

It is our right to get salary, incentive and bonus in time but officer delayed wantedly..
Until unless CHO gets permanent.. Officer’s will treat us like this only.! No on-time salary , incentives and bonus!
Heavy burdened heartened! NTNG WILL CHANGE TILL WE ARE RESPECTFULLY DONE PERMANENT IN OUR POST.!
