Community Health Officer Ms. Shilpa, from Ayushman Arogya Kendra – A, Kukanur, visited the residence of who has been suffering from Oral Cancer for the past one year.
During the home visit, CHO Shilpa conducted:
- Blood Pressure (BP) check
- Blood Sugar examination
- Wound dressing
She also provided health education, including guidance on cancer care, symptom management, nutrition, hygiene, and the importance of regular follow-up.
This initiative highlights the crucial role of Community Health Officers in delivering door-to-door healthcare services to patients who are unable to visit health facilities due to chronic illness. Such home-based services significantly support patient care, early detection, and community awareness.
