Today, a home visit was conducted at Kesaru Koppa under Lakkavahalli Primary Health Centre by the Community Health Officer.
During the visit, comprehensive Postnatal Care (PNC) and Newborn Care services were provided to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.
The services included:
✔️ Breastfeeding support
✔️ Burping techniques
✔️ Newborn hygiene and warmth care
✔️ Guidance on mother’s personal hygiene
✔️ Overall health education for mother and baby
✔️ Follow-up health advice for family members
The Community Health Officer ensured proper counselling to promote a healthy mother and a healthy newborn, emphasising early care, hygiene, nutrition and consistent family support.
