Union State President today visited Arogya Soudha, Bengaluru, and submitted a second written representation to the Mission Director (MD), National Health Mission (NHM), raising a strong objection to the proposed HR Policy implementation.
The Union categorically stated that no HR Policy should be implemented without prior consultation with the recognised Union and without adherence to the legal framework governing contractual health employees.
The Union also submitted a second reminder seeking immediate discussion and resolution of pending COD-related issues.
During the discussion, the Union raised concerns regarding salary, incentives, and other financial matters. The Deputy Director (DD), UHC, informed that a separate meeting will be conducted shortly w.3ith all District Officers, chaired by the MD, NHM, to deliberate on these financial issues.
Regarding consideration of previous service, officials informed that the matter would be placed on file before the MD, NHM for further decision.
The Union further raised the issue of counting service rendered during the training period. The DD, UHC, assured that district-wise data would be collected starting immediately.
The Mamit Gaikwad stated that remaining issues will be pursued in the forthcoming meeting and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the service rights, wages, and job security of Community Health Officers across Karnataka.
