A palliative care home visit was conducted for Patient a chronically bed-ridden patient residing under the jurisdiction of Ayushman Arogya Kendra, Sanganal. The visit was carried out by Community Health Officer Shri Hanumappa Karadi as part of ongoing community-based palliative care services.

During the visit, the patient was found to have bed sores and swelling in both feet. The family members were counselled on patient hygiene, regular position changes, and proper wound care to prevent further complications.
This initiative reflects the Health Department’s Community Health Officers commitment to providing compassionate, accessible, and continuous palliative care to vulnerable patients at their doorstep.
