During the interaction, the Hon’ble Health Minister once again reaffirmed the assurance given in the previous meeting and clearly stated:

“No decision has been taken so far on re-appointment. The government will ensure that no injustice or difficulty is caused to the employees in future.”

The Union has urged the Minister to permanently drop any proposal that may disturb the service continuity of CHOs and NHM employees. Meanwhile, the Union has appealed to all CHOs and NHM employees not to panic, and confirmed that talks with the government are continuing on a positive note.

However, if the government proceeds with any re-appointment move, the Union has already prepared legal plans and organisational strategies to protect the rights and service continuity of all CHOs.
