Dress Code Issue Resolved.. ​

  • When the Department suddenly modified the service bond and imposed a new dress rule requiring CHOs to wear white shirt, white pant, and apron, our Union strongly opposed the unfair decision.Through collective effort and representation, the Union successfully stopped the implementation of the new dress code.This victory reflects our commitment to protecting the dignity and rights of all CHOs in Karnataka.

Four-Day Indefinite Protest at Freedom Park

The Union organized a four-day indefinite protest at Freedom Park to demand action from the Department on pending CHO issues.Due to the strong and persistent demonstration, the Department provided written assurance, formally recognizing our demands.This is a historic achievement in the Union’s journey, as it was the first time the Department’s commitment was documented in writing, strengthening the Union’s influence and accountability.

4 days strike

Successful Appointment with MOHFW, New Delhi

  • During our State-level efforts, the Union successfully secured an official appointment with the MD and Additional Secretary, MOHFW (Government of India), New Delhi within a week of our request.This was a major initiative by our Union, strengthening our voice at the national level and opening doors for policy-level discussions on CHO welfare and service regularisation.

Previous CHO Service Considered for Upcoming Posts

  • The Union requested the Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare (PRS) to ensure that the previous service of existing CHOs is considered for upcoming CHO posts and recruitment.Following our strong representation, the Department immediately issued orders accepting this request.This achievement recognizes the valuable service and experience of existing CHOs across Karnataka.

Mr Mallikarjune Noolkar
Organising secretery

Mr. Noolkar serves as the Organising Secretary of the Akhila Karnataka State Community Health NHM Contractual Employees Union (R).
With strong commitment and coordination skills, he plays a key role in uniting Community Health Officers across Karnataka. His efforts focus on strengthening field-level communication, mobilising members, and ensuring that the Union’s activities and decisions reach every district and block effectively.
