Today, the Community Health Officer of Umblebailu visited migrant families working at a brick kiln and conducted health check-ups for pregnant women and lactating mothers.
During the visit, the CHO:
Provided maternal health screening
Issued Mother Cards (Taayi Cards)
Offered health education and counselling
Informed mothers about nutrition, hygiene and danger signs during pregnancy and post-natal period
This initiative ensured that migrant women, who are often unable to access routine healthcare services, received essential maternal care at their workplace.
